Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Hon’ble Ms. Mary Elizabeth Truss, awarded degrees to the Distance Education graduates during the 12th Convocation Ceremony of LPU.
11th Convocation
Former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott awarded degrees to 102 gold medalists, 555 PhD scholars, and 567 outstanding students during the 11th Convocation at LPU. The event also celebrated the graduation of LPU's inaugural cohort of students in online mode. Thousands of Regular, Distance, and Online mode graduates were conferred their degrees during the ceremony.

1st CONVOCATION
Mr. Shivraj Patil Hon’ble Governor of Punjab was the Chief Guest in 1st Convocation of LPU, distributing dagrees to graduates and acknowledged university efforts for quality education.
2nd CONVOCATION
Mr. Leszek Borysiewicz Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge University was the Chief Guest in 2nd Convocation of LPU, addressed graduates and acknowledged university efforts for quality education.
3rd CONVOCATION
It was a moment of pride when the President of India Mr.Pranab Mukherjee along with the President of Afganistan Mr.Hamid Karzai and Chief minister of Punjab S. Prakash Singh Badal Awarded degrees to the graduates.
4th CONVOCATION
Honorable President of Mauritius Mr.Rajkeswur Purryag was the chief guest Of the fourth convocation of LPU.Praising LPU he said “LPU is the fastest growing university sites and it can help various educational programmes”.

Prime Minister of Kingdom of Lesotho, Honourable Dr. Pakalitha B. Mosisili, The Chief Guest of the Session 1 of the 5th Convocation of LPU on 31st October, 2015.

Her Excellency Dr. Ameenah Firdaus Gurib-Fakim, President of the Republic of Mauritius presided over the 7th Convocation and very kindly delivered the Convocation Address.
8th Convocation
Then Hon’ble President of India Padma Vibhushan Shri Pranab Mukherjee bestowed Ph D Degrees, 38 gold medals and 164 Awards upon meritorious LPU Regular and Distance Education students for their outstanding academic & research performances during 8th Convocation.
9th Convocation
The Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu presided over the 9th convocation of Lovely Professional University, in which degrees and diplomas were conferred upon thousands of LPU Regular and Distance Education students. Besides, hundreds of students were honored for their meritorious academic performance.
Spreading the festivity of the country Lesotho
LPU DE students represented the country Lesotho in LPU’s mega event One World held on 21st and 22nd November 2017 in the University Campus. Where they won first runners-up position.

During the procession of One World 2017, the Distance Education students, along with regular LPU students from Lesotho left no stone unturned in charming the audience. They depicted the Festivals and Cultural Celebrations of the country Lesotho.

LPU DE students participated in LPU’s mega event One World held on 22nd and 23rd November 2016 at University Campus. They represented the country Burundi.

LPU DE students collaborated with LPU School of Civil Engineering and LPU international students from Cameroon to represent the country Cameroon during One World held on 14th & 15th April 2015.

LPU DE students not only got the opportunity to learn and imbibe the cultural values of Cameroon but also got to know about the women empowerment practices of Cameroon while participating in One World held in April 2015.

LPU DE represented the state of Maharashtra, exhibiting the true spirit of valour and enthusiasm of Maratha Empire, depicted through Itihass ke Panno se during One India event held on 25th & 26th March 2016.
Mesmerising the audience with Maharashtrian Lavani
Dressed in bright saris and bedecked in golden jewellery, students performed the Lavani folk dance of Maharashtra state and enchanted the audience with their presentation. The overall performance got the students People’s Choice Award for representing Maharashtra during One India 2016.

Colourful procession, Display Stall, Folk Dance and Music performances dedicated to the women achievers of West Bengal were the highlights of LPU DE participation during One India fest held on 19th & 20th March 2015.
