• Our B.A student Mr. Gurpreet Singh won gold medal in standard pistol team event, silver medal in centre fire pistol individual event and bronze medal in centre fire pistol team event during 14th Asian Shooting Championship held at Doha in November 2019.
• LPU DE BA students, Mr. Sawarn Singh & Mr. Sukhmeet Singh brought laurels to the country by winning Silver and a Bronze medal in 19th Asian Rowing Championship at Chungju, South Korea.
• LPU DE MBA student, Mr. Arshpreet Singh Bhullar bagged ‘The Most Valuable Player Award’ during 33rd Federation Cup Basketball Championship at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh
• Mr. Gurpreet Singh has bagged silver medal in 25m Standard Pistol Men Individual Competition during the 52nd World Championship of International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) at Changwon, South Korea.
• In 49th Grand Prix of Liberation, an international shooting event held in Pilsen, Mr. Amanpreet Singh clinched 4 medals which include Gold Medal in 25m Standard Pistol team event, Silver medal in 50m Free Pistol individual event, Silver Medal in 10m Air Pistol mixed team event and Bronze Medal in 10m Air Pistol team event .
• In international shooting competition of Hannover, Mr. Amanpreet Singh bagged 6 medals including Gold Medal in 10m Air Pistol individual event, Gold Medal in 50m Free Pistol team event, Silver medal in 50m Free Pistol individual event, Silver Medals in 25m Standard Pistol individual as well as team events and Bronze Medal in 10m Air Pistol mixed team event.
• In international shooting competition of Hannover ARJUN AWARDEE Olympian Mr. Gurpreet Singh clinched Gold Medal in 25m Standard Pistol individual event and Silver Medal in 25m Centre Fire Pistol individual event.
• MBA student, Mr. Amanpreet Singh has proved his mettle by bagging Gold medal in Mixed Air Pistol event during 19th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship 2019 held at the Dr. Karni Singh Range, Tughlakabad.
• Mr. Gurpreet Singh has bagged gold medal in 25m Standard pistol event and Rapid Fire pistol team event, Silver in 25m Centre Fire team event and Bronze medal in 25m Centre Fire individual event during 19th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship 2019 held at the Dr. Karni Singh Range, Tughlakabad.
• Mr. Amanpreet Singh brought another laurel for India by winning Gold in team event of 50m Pistol Men during 48th Grand Prix of Liberation Plzeň (Czech Republic)2017 defeating the teams of Russia and Germany.
• Mr. Amanpreet Singh won silver medal in 50m pistol event in International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup held at New Delhi in March 2017.
• MBA student of LPU DE, Akshay Jain has been honored with 'Pride of Punjab Award' by State Govt. during Pride of Punjab Award function organized by Punjab Rifle Shooting Association at Mohali for bagging 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medals in various team events of in 61st National Shooting Championship.
• Mr Sandeep Dutt, in collaboration with his Pakistani friend Faisal Hayat (Rawalpindi) has created a wonderful online platform - a Facebook page named Bolti Khidki,where people from both sides of Indo-Pak border tell their stories of survival(Tales of Partition) and even find their old acquaintances from Pre-Partitiontimes. This endeavour caught media attention and received extensive coverage in prominent print and electronic media.
