Study Centre Support
For providing admission and counselling support services to students, the University has set up a nation-wide network of Study Centres, which act as service points for providing various support services required for the purpose of Distance Education.
Effective Communication System
The strong and effective Communication System at LPU caters to all academic and administrative needs of the students of Distance Education for the purpose of providing timely and regular information to the students
The Communication System consists of the following modes:
- Through Study Centres
- Website
- LPU e-Connect
Grievance Handling
Though best efforts are made to provide all the student services, as required for the purpose of Distance Education to the students, still any student with grievance, if any, may contact the allotted Study Centre; and for grievance which remains unaddressed at Study Centre, the student may forward it directly to the University in either of the following modes:
Student Career Services (Placements)
A division of student career services is operating at the University with a vision to equip students with versatile traits to match core needs of the Corporate World. This division acts as an intermediate between the Corporate World and the University by providing the budding students with guidance in their choice of career and an easy access to employer s by providing ample opportunities for placements.
Various training, guidance needs of students are also catered to, besides providing placement support for the students.
The major responsibilities of this cell are
- to liaison between Industry and the University
- to suggest corrective measures to non budding eligible and interested students to make them placeable
- to invite the best companies of different industries for Campus recruitments at University
- to motivate and counsel students about Industry practices and improve their emotional quotients
