Answer:11 Yes, LPU DE has a strong nationwide network of Study Centres that enables the students to choose the one that is easily accessible to them. These Study Centres act as access points for advice, counseling and rendering various student support services as required for the purpose of LPU Distance Education. Answer:12 No, you do not need to pay any extra fee. You need to pay the Programme Fee and Examination Fee, late fee (if applicable) or any other fee as prescribed by the University from time to time. Please refer the Prospectus/ Website for details on fee structure.

Answer:13 No, you need not come to the University. A student may contact the Study Centre for all the details, however in case of any grievance, if not addressed by the Study Centre, the student is free to contact the University.

Answer:24 Eligibility criteria is provided for all the Programmes. You need to study them carefully before filling up the Application form. Also, you can seek the help of our Counselors at our University/ Study Centres/ designated Camp offices/ Caravan Teams to verify if you are eligible for a Programme or not.

Answer:25 Yes, you may take admission through the LPU DE website. The Application Form is available on the website, which can be downloaded and submitted through post, along with all the relevant documents, at the University or at the Study Centre of your choice.
| | Question26 .What are the documents that I need to attach with the Application Form? Answer:26 - Attested Photocopy of Matriculation or equivalent certificate bearing testimony to Date of Birth.
- Attested Photocopy of Mark Sheet of 10+2 or equivalent Examination.
- Attested Photocopy(ies) of Marks Sheet(s)of Diploma or equivalent Examination.
- Attested Photocopy(ies) of Marks Sheet(s) of Graduation or equivalent Examination.
- Attested Photocopy(ies) of Marks Sheet(s) of Post Graduation or equivalent Examination.
- Two additional recent passport size colored photographs.
- Proof of Residence (Passport/Voter Identity Card/Ration Card/Driving License/ Electricity Bill/Telephone Bill/Bank Account Statement).
- DD/ PO/ Cash Receipt etc. pertaining to payment(s).
Additional documents to be submitted by the International applicants only- Attested photocopy of Passport for International Applicants.
- Attested photocopy of the certificate of English Proficiency Test(if take)
- Additional documents to be submitted by the applicants seeking admission through Migration
- Attested photocopy(ies) of mark Sheet(s) of academic year(s)/ term(s)/ semester(s) completed in the Current Programme.
All the above-mentioned documents need to be brought in original also to the University/ Study Centres/ designated Camp Offices/ Carvan Teams, in order to have the attested copies (Self attested & attested by the competent authority i.e. a Gazetted Officer or Notary or any other appropriate authority as prescribed by the University with seal) verified with the Originals. In case you fail to bring the original documents, your application will be considered incomplete and will be considered as complete only when the verification of your attested documents is done with their corresponding original ones. | | Question27 .What if I send an incomplete Application Form?
Answer:27 Only duly filled-in and signed Application Form(s) along with the attachments, as prescribed, would be deemed to be Complete Application(s). Incomplete Application Form(s) will be rejected. Therefore, to avoid this, you are advised to read the Prospectus and all the Guidelines carefully or seek the help of our counselors.

Answer:28 Your application for admission will not be considered for the Programme you have applied for.

Answer:29 If a student has done a Diploma in a particular field, he can take admission in the 2nd year of the corresponding programme. This is applicable for Graduate as well as Post Graduate Programmes, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University for the same.

Answer:31 Yes, LPU DE provides migration option to the students who wish to join LPU DE. Certain programmes under LPU DE are offered in a flexible credit based system, with multiple entry options. One can gain entry in the specified semesters/ years of a programme. The basis of the entry to the respective semester/ year is the courses (subjects) already studied and the credits already earned by the student in his preceding semester(s). Answer:32 Yes, you can take provisional admission in LPU DE, subject to confirmation on submission of pass result document of qualifying examination. If you are unable to clear the back-log paper and submit the result document of qualifying examination by the date decided by the University, your admission will stand canceled and no refund of fee will be made in any case.
| | Question33 .Can I study any other Programme from any other University along with enrolling myself in a Programme under LPU DE?
Answer:33 Yes, LPU offers Dual Degree Option wherein you can pursue any Programme under any other University or Institute while studying a Programme under LPU DE.
| | Question34 .Can I pursue two Programmes simultaneously at LPU DE?
Answer:34 No, you can enroll for only one Programme at LPU DE at a time.
| | Question35 .In what cases will I be given Provisional Admission?
Answer:35 You will be considered for Provisional Admission in LPU DE, in following cases: - Non submission of Certificate of qualifying examination due to result being awaited or backlog in qualifying examination.
- Submission of un-attested documents.
- Non submission of attested copy of Matriculation Certificate/ qualifying certificate/ residence proof/ any other document required for admission.
- Non payment of full Programme Fee and/ or Examination Fee or any other fee as prescribed by the University.
- Pending verification of attested documents with their corresponding Original documents.
- Non submission of Anti-ragging affidavit.
| | Question36 .Upto what time can I submit my pending attested copies of documents and pending fee for confirmation of admission?
Answer:36 You are required to submit the pending documents, as per the date decided by the University; failing which your admission may be canceled and no refund of fee will be made in any case.
| | Question37 .Will a Registration Number be allotted to me if my admission is provisional?
Answer:37 Yes, Registration Number will be allotted to you in case your admission is provisional. But, this Registration Number will be confirmed only after your admission is confirmed.

Answer:38 An email/ sms will be sent to the applicant by the University on the email ID/ mobile number specified by the applicant in his Application Form, providing the status of his admission, within 3 months of his submission of Application Form to the Study Centre/ Caravan Team/ designated Camp Office/ Department of Admissions at the University Campus or by post.
In case an applicant does not receive such email/ sms from the University, he must contact his allotted Study Centre/ University and get his admission confirmed. The University shall not assume any liability for any ignorance or default on the part of the applicant or the intermediatory, or incase of change of correspondence address or mobile number or mobile being switched off or network failure etc.

Answer:41 e- Book is the soft copy of Self Learning Material which will be uploaded on LPU e- Connect for the facilitation of the students, which would enable web-based study.

Answer:42 Study Material is provided to the students, subject to payment of Programme Fee and Exam Fee of the respective term of the programme. Study Material will be given to the students on allotment of Registration No. or after the commencement of session.

Answer:43 No, you need not pay an extra fee to collect the Study Material but if in case you want it posted to your address, then you need to pay the postage/courier charges as applicable.

Answer:44 No, you need not to come to the University to collect the Study Material. Study Material will be provided to the students by the Study Centres allotted to the students.

Answer:45 Yes, the study material may be sent to you through post but you need to make the request for the same to the University or the Study Centre and the postage/ courier charges for the dispatch of the study material will be borne by you, in addition to the fee prescribed in the Prospectus.

Question46 .When will I receive the Identity Card?
Answer:46 Identity Card will be provided to you , after the confirmation of the admission by the University. You may collect the Identity Card from the Study Centre allotted to you.

Answer:47 The Identity Card is valid only for the duration of the Programme in which the applicant has sought the admission.
